I have noticed that life can bring some major whip lashes, one-second I am soaring high enjoying the view and the next my wing is clipped and I am plummeting to the ground. That is why I decided to start this blog to remember the flights I have landed and the ones where I fall. I know that the ones that crash and burn may be painful and hard to recover from but they help me to build my wings stronger for the next take off and make my safe landings even more meaningful.

Symbolism at its best
I have officially started my new job at Delta airlines. It took weeks to process background checks and security threat forms but I am finally training. It is so awesome! I have been through complete tours of the airport, I get to skip the lines at security, I get free parking for when I go on trips, and I get to eat lunch in the terminals! I am training for the ticket counter and the gates and it is really fun! There are break rooms and lockers so it makes me feel so grown up. I have yet to meet anyone who works there that I don't like, everyone is just so nice. I have a great training group of women that are so much fun to be around and work with. I know I am such a dork but I am seriously super excited to get uniforms. I have never had one before and it will be kind of cool! They look terrible though and I can't even wear my high heels to make them look any better. Today I got to help people with the kiosks and bag drop counters, it was super crazy but I loved it. The scary part I think will be working at the gates. Cancelled flights and overbooked planes terrify me! I am going to be working mornings in the D concourse so if you have a flight be sure to come say hi! Now I will be flying everywhere and my blog title will actually have another meaning to it!
